It is my turn, adds a small, practical social phrase to their vocabulary, useful in play as much as in language learning. Playground vocabulary tends to be some of the most joyfully remembered, since it is learned in the middle of genuine excitement and physical activity rather than during any quieter, more formal learning moment.
A useful extension is encouraging a child to invite a friend to play using a simple Hindi phrase, mere saath khelo, play with me, even if the friend does not understand it fully. Practising vocabulary in genuine social moments like this, even imperfectly, builds real world confidence faster than rehearsed classroom phrases alone.
